Dr. Ericson brings several areas of expertise to Mid-Pacific International. Due to his experience and expertise in university governance and his work on issues of program quality and quality assurance in higher education, he is able to help institutions in the process of educational planning in a competitive global environment. His involvement in international education from educational development projects in Ethiopia to the formation of university partnerships in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam allows him to aid IHE’s institutional advancement according to their mission and vision. And, given his background in educational policy studies and his extensive theoretical work on the structure and behavior of national educational systems, he is able to develop practical “educational impact statements” that connect the local, the national, and the global in higher education in the wider policy environment.
